I signed us up for the Disney program for this year: "Give a day, Get a day:. To earn our tickets, I signed up with the Binky Patrol to make 3 blankets. Ryan paid for the material. I cut and sewed the blankets and Dillon tied them.
I'm not a huge fan of the tied blankets, but it is something that the kids can do to help, so I made 2 that could be tied. For the other one, I used this tutorial for bias tape. I think it looks a little more mature, maybe for a teenage girl. It's not perfect, but it was made with love, I hope the people receiving these blankets can feel that love!
FABULOUS PHOTO! WOW! Thank you for your hearts and help. I'm partial to strip pieced binkies made from a bunch of scraps. Kind of like a collage. These have made it easy for children to help.
